Artist Statement

My goals with my artwork are to create unique interpretations of the world around me and to capture a feeling. I achieve these through bold use of color and painterly effects while also constantly exploring new mediums and dimensions. My primary medium of choice currently is acrylic paint on wood. I am heavily influenced by Post-Impressionism, Americana and Folk Art.
